Hi, I’m David. I am an Independent Equity Release Adviser with Equity Release Supermarket.
I have worked in the Financial Services industry for over 35 years, for companies such as NFU Mutual and Ecclesiastical. I also have a strong background in mortgages, having been employed at Britannia Building Society in the early 1980s.
I hold the Diploma in Financial Planning and the relevant qualifications that allow me to advise on Lifetime Mortgage, Home Reversion & RIO mortgages. I am also a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals.
Before joining award-winning Equity Release Supermarket, I was employed as an Independent Equity Release Adviser for three years by another national equity release broker - Key Retirement.
Equity release has become an important part of mainstream retirement planning and it’s essential that anyone considering releasing equity from their home should take advice from a professionally qualified independent equity release adviser.
My role is to advise you and recommend whether equity release is right after considering all the alternative options available, based on your present circumstances, needs and aspirations for the future.
If I agree that equity release is the right way forward, then I’ll put together a recommendation for you to consider, after fully researching the market and selecting the plan most suitable for you.
But my job doesn’t end there - if you decide to proceed with an application, I will guide you every step of the way, answering any questions and dealing with any concerns that arise up to the completion of your plan.
As a valued client, you would always receive my continued support in the future should you ever need to revise your plans.
I am based in the West Midlands, where I manage to find the time to combine my career as an Independent Equity Release Adviser with my passion for playing the guitar!
I am happy to meet clients anywhere in the UK and conduct business either by telephone or via a face-to-face meeting at your home, where I would always welcome friends and family aswell.
I am married to Jane and we have three children and three grandchildren.
