I am a fully qualified independent equity release adviser and have been working in financial services for in excess of 20 years. Since 2010, I have specialised in assisting people aged 55+ to achieve their personal goals by releasing equity from their property.
Equity release has grown & developed over the years & is now a fast-evolving product. This is where my experience helps in assisting homeowners decide if equity release is indeed right for them, & their families. Dealing with the whole of the equity release market helps me find products with the lowest rates, best features & any special deals currently available.
I take great pride in helping transform people’s retirement & there are many ways I’ve helped people at or in retirement. This could be for reasons of boosting their income, gifting to beneficiaries to help them onto the property ladder, home improvements, repaying mortgages and many more besides.
Due to the implications of my advice, I like to take as much time as is needed with my clients to initially establish whether equity release is indeed right for them. This often involves questions from other members of their family, whom I’m more than happy to accommodate in our discussions.
To offer best advice to homeowners, I need to be 100% certain that the advice I provide is not only suitable for them now, but fits in with any potential changes in their circumstances, such as moving house &/or downsizing in the future.
As well as being fully qualified as an equity release adviser I can also offer assistance on retirement mortgages and RIO's, which are also important alternatives to lifetime mortgages. I am diploma qualified and have experience in providing advice on Wills and Powers of Attorney's as many clients often like to take care of these important financial matters at the same time as releasing equity.
On a personal level, I am a happily married man with 2 children and I live in Formby, Merseyside. In my spare time I like to travel and enjoy watching too much sport according to my wife.
