Hello, I’m Gavin.

I’ve been working within the Financial Services industry for over 25yrs, mostly within Lloyds banking Group where I provided advice on mortgages and protection plans aswell as various managerial roles. My experience helped support clients to achieve their goals, by understanding their needs and circumstances and providing advice in a personal and transparent manner.

I am passionate about equity release and later life lending in general because I understand the difference it can make to the personal and financial lives of clients and their families. This is one of the reasons I joined Equity Release Supermarket as they are a multi-award winning and recognised for their innovation and customer centric approach.

As an independent whole of market adviser, my goal is to provide guidance and specialist advice on the full range of equity release products. During my time in equity release I have seen first-hand how they have continuously evolved with new, innovative and flexible features making them an excellent solution for many people at, or in retirement.

Equity release can be used for a variety of purposes, most commonly to repay a traditional mortgage, making home improvements, enhancing retirement income or providing support if clients wished to ‘upsize’ and move home. Alternatively, you may wish to support family with a house deposit or gift to grandchildren to assist with private education.

I live in Hertfordshire with my wife Dawn and two children who are pursuing their dreams via University and Apprenticeships.
