Hi, I’m Jo, one of the independent equity release advisors with Equity Release Supermarket. I’m based in Surrey and I’m happy to offer face-to-face and phone advice to homeowners across the UK.
My financial services career spans over 20 years, starting as a financial advisor with NatWest and Santander helping clients with pensions, investments and life insurance. From there I moved to Coutts, working in compliance checking estate planning, retirement planning and investment advice – so I know what good advice looks like!
I’m a Chartered Financial Planner with a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of financial planning. I chose to specialise in Equity Release as I’m truly passionate about it and can see the tangible difference it makes to my clients, whether that’s being able to help out family, making changes to the home or simply being able to afford a better retirement.
I realise equity release can seem a daunting prospect, and that it may not be right for everyone, so my commitment is always to provide honest advice, patiently and empathetically – and most importantly in plain English!
Equity release products have come a long way in recent years. There are so many more products and options now which is fantastic for the customer, but makes it even more important to get good advice.

A bit about me - I’m married to Neil and have two young children who keep me busy! I’m a West Ham fan and love watching live stand-up comedy when we’re lucky enough to get a babysitter for a night out.
