Hello, I’m Paul, one of the advisers here at the award-winning Equity Release Supermarket.
I am a specialist equity release adviser with over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. I have previously worked for HSBC and Halifax where I learnt my trade providing mortgage and investment advice.
Due to the stock market crash in 2008, I decided to leave financial services and went into the retail industry for a few years, but it was too not long before I moved back into financial services as this is where my passion lies.
In 2016 I became an equity release adviser at Key Retirement and three years later was headhunted by Fluent Money. After spending five successful years with Fluent, I decided to move to Equity Release Supermarket as they were one of the few companies providing whole of market equity release advice across the industry.
I felt the time was right in 2024 to expand my knowledge and at the same time to offer clients whole of market products across the later life lending industry. This would therefore provide better client outcomes and access to more resources and solutions including Retirement Interest Only mortgages, Home Reversion and Retirement mortgages for the over 50’s.

We provide impartial advice to help customers achieve their goals from repaying mortgages, settling outstanding debts, undertaking home improvements to also gifting money to family, or simply arranging a dream holiday of a lifetime.
I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my clients and understanding what their dreams, goals and ambitions are and striving to helping them achieve what is important to them.
I take great pride in offering solutions from the whole of market whilst always acting with the highest levels of integrity and being completely transparent even if this means advising clients not to proceed if this is the best outcome for them.

I am based in Preston Lancashire where I live with my wife Jane, two dogs (labradors) and a cat.
My passion is cooking and entertaining and love having family and friends’ round and hosting and spoiling them. I love football and I am a huge Liverpool fan.
