Last month saw the official opening of our new premises at Birchwood Park, Cheshire - a reflection of how we’ve continued to thrive as a business despite the challenges of the past 18 months.
The new 4607 sq ft office has been specially created, first and foremost, with the wellbeing of our team in mind and provides a perfect working environment as well as a great venue for client meetings.

Light and open space
The light and open space includes relaxation and chill out spaces for our employees, as well as workstations that offer the option of either communal hot desking or working individually.
The large number of work areas also offer the perfect space for our advisers to meet clients and hold events with our partners.
We chose Birchwood Park, which is the North-West’s largest out-of-town business destination, because it’s ideally located for our staff as well as being well connected to many nearby cities.
Award-winning designers
Award-winning architectural designers Studio SDA were behind the bespoke design and fit with a finish that includes jura grey limestone flooring, fumed oak carpentry and origami ceilings.
Speaking about the design, Simon Pierpoint Co-Founder of Studio SDA said: “The interior architectural fit-out generally reflects the ethos of ERS – centred around transparency, honesty and quality.
“Embodied within the design was the deliberate effort not to forget the workforce, which drives the company engine, various relaxation and chill out spaces have been created to allow everyone to love and enjoy the environment. “
Hybrid working
Like many businesses, we have been moving towards a more hybrid working approach and the new office allows our team the option to drop in when they need to, complementing their home/office-based work balance.
Our office move comes just months after we became the UK’s No.1 independent equity release advisory service, as well as making a number of key appointments.
The launch day was attended by staff, suppliers, lenders and partners, alongside Jim Boyd, (CEO) and Kelly Melville-Kelly (Head of Risk, Policy and Compliance) from the Equity Release Council.
